The bulk of the collection contains genealogical research and correspondence from members of the Scribner family. The Deborah Neil Scribner series contain original correspondence and annotations from Kent. The Helen Scribner series contain correspondence and photographs beginning in the 1920s. The A. Kent Scribner series contains a family history manuscript and transcriptions of family correspondence.
