Each letter of the alphabet is set in a different typeface and is illustrated by a cartoon-like line drawing by Themerson that is captioned with a bitter aphorism by Russell. The poem reads as follows: He bangs his wings on the table! - Still no service! - What's the matter with that waiter! - Wow! Smell that roast biff! - Ah! he takes out a stick of dynamite - Brr-ump!
