The drawings were done by Felipe Ehrenberg and the poems composed by Margaret Randall. The meaning of the ink annotations on pages 31 by a previous owner are unclear. In this ordinary edition, the plates are printed in black and white. In the limited hard cover edition of 30 copies that is also held by the Sackner Archive, the plates are handcolored by Ehrenberg.
