Scope and Contents Harriet Staff reviewed the book in Poetry News November 28, 2012: Ian Hamilton Finlay's new book, Selections (UC Press 2012), edited with an introduction by Alec Finlay, has been reviewed over at Booktryst. For the first 30 years of his life, he was a street hustler and a petty criminal and for last years an outsider artist until he committed suicide. Jonathan Williams, Roger Manley, and Guy Mendes contributed colored photographs of Martin and his artwork that he created for his house in Georgia.
