The pages in this book depict abstract patterns made by applying black, gold and silver pigment with a fingerprinting technique to the pages. Interspersed among these fingerprints, Genis has drawn untranslatable, repetitive hieroglyphs and abstract markings. This book object was constucted from strips of foam board to give it its unconventional shape. Strips of handwritten texts about 3 mm wide were collaged onto the cardboard overlying the foam board construction. Paint was also applied to some portions of the collaged surface.
