A typographically designed page for each letter of the alphabet is alternated with a page of text and image incorporating words using that particular letter of the alphabet. The end papers have letters of varying typefaces embedded in the paper. The black leather front cover has an uppercase A and the back cover an uppercase Z. This copy is from the deluxe edition that is printed on handmade paper and is a masterpiece of inventive, letterpress printing. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
