Jenny Holzer (born 1950) is an American conceptual artist. Holzer lives and works in Hoosick Falls, New York. Holzer's works often speak of violence, oppression, sexuality, feminism, power, war and death. The opening piece in this book reads "It's a safe game to play with your nose, shutting off the air and letting it flow again.
