The catalogue began with an historical introduction to text based works and included reproduced images of 20th century artists whose works are held by the Sackner Archive such as Apollinaire, Marinetti, Sabatier, Indiana, Kriwet, Augusto de Campos, Furnival, Finlay, Gomringer, Klaus-Peter Dienst, and Schuldt. The maze is composed of large letters in which the Lord of Southampton, the dark lady and the Queen are standing. A portrait of Shakespeare is drawn within a pyramid. Beneath that is an alphabet of hand signs. The imagery is taken from the drawing, "The Dark Lady" that is held by the Sackner Archive.
