In this drawing, the Dark Lady by the Dark Tow(er) was placed in the center section. A portrait of the head of Shakespeare was placed at the upper right and that of Queen Elizabeth on the left. "An Index to the Alphabet of Manuall Significations" (sign language) is drawn on the lower left side. The content of this drawing and scale of the portraits gives a surrealistic-like sensibility.
