Consists of a collection of critical essays previously published in academic periodicals. Her chapter, "Edging and Hedging" analyzes concrete poems by Lora-Totino (Spazio), Ulrichs (Eros), Gomringer (Silenzio), and Finlay ( The Wartime Garden).
