Biography
Sue Cahill was born in Kansas City, Missouri in 1959. After receiving a bachelor’s degree from Buena Vista University and a masters from Graceland University, both degrees in education, she worked for many years as a teacher for the Marshalltown Community School District. She served on the Marshalltown city council from. In 2021, Cahill assumed office as a Democratic state legislator representing parts of the Marshalltown area, serving District 71 from 2021-2023 and District 52 beginning in 2023.
