Near the middle of each print, single words apppear in black circumscribed b background white of paper, e.g., silence, entering, insurgencies. Each print also contains a large, fragmented capital letter printed in red. The text begins with the single word 'silence' printed in blind letterpress intaglio. As the pages unfold, black, beige and gray colors are used for printing the words.
